Offers are welcomed. 1.)Book, leatherbound, pub. San Francisco 1885. Emperor Hong Xiuquan's "New Revelation", first US edition. With introduction by Mark Twain. 2.) Home scarification kit, 980 AE (After Eriksson), north Vinland confederation, in original container. "For the father who wants to bring his son to manhood the old-fashioned way." 3.)Shovel, wood and steel: on good authority, used by Czar Aaron II to turn the first spade of dirt at the groundbreaking for the Restored Temple in Jerusalem. 4.)First-edition copy of Salman Rushdie's controversial play, "The Martyrdom of Khomeini." Still banned in the Iranian Socialist Republic. 5.)Almost complete set of commemorative dishes from the wedding of Sub-Emperor Charles of Louisiana and Canada to Napoleon XI's daughter Marie. 6.)Oil painting, 30X48: good reproduction of Bowelle's classic "The last stand of the Ice-Men", showing Emperor Mansa Keita's Wolof grenadiers storming the fortress of King Magnus the Bloody-Handed. I've got some stuff I need to clear as well... [1] A '71 ex-works MZ 500cc Grand Prix bike - some provenance, allegedly ridden by Jarno Saarinen. [2] Giancarlo Fallappa's '94 Harley Davidson VR1000 - full provenance, this is the actual bike he rode at Montjuith to clinch his (& Harley's) second consecutive World Superbike Championship. Also available - autographed leathers, helmet & gloves. [3] A half share in a cask (still in bond) of 1992 St Magdalene single malt scotch whisky. NB Duty will be payable to HM Customs & Excise on bottling. [4] Commemorative mug and booklet for the coronation of Anne 1st, Queen of the Scots. Booklet includes full text of the addresses by Cardinal Jack Glass and the Very Reverend Thomas Winning, Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland. Parting with the bikes will be a pain, but I'm not getting the chance to do them justice and neither of them are eligible for the local championship classes. Hmmm, who made the reproduction? I mean hand made or reproduction method? Incidentally I have a few items: (1) "The Land that Makes Men Cry as Women" - Volumes I&II - First edition, signed, and both volumes intact, including the hand painted frontispieces. I got two of these sets, and am selling one set, I bought a sealed chest from a old bookstore and I find something like this. Mind you I will expect a fair price. The set I am selling is in excellent shape, and I am willing to include a antiquarians note about quality and authenticity. "This for anyone that cares is biography of a soldier, first a private later officer, who was part of the ill-fated attempted invasion of Europe, from the triumph at the sack of Rome; to the devastating frozen advance through the wilds of Germany; to the legendary sieges of Kiel and Hamburg; to the 1888 Winter Offensive; his capture and being sent to a PoW camp in Thule; his exchange for other prisoners; the bitter fighting in the Alps and the peace treaty; some notes on what his thoughts then were about the eventual fate of Spain, Italy and the Balkans. (2) Eight barrels marked "Pemikan", article marked 1912, opened one it was full of hideous smelling stuff, apparently still edible. Part of the rations of the Hodinosavannih League's relief troops. Small runic inscription denoting it the property of allied soldiers, small Hodinosavannih inscription denoting it sold as surplus (I think, I had to translate with a encyclopedia), second small runic inscription informing it has been auctioned, same inscriptions on all barrel. --- --- -- - Vegard Valberg My e-mail adress is , that is two v's, not one W. Old (really old) maps of Angleland are particularly to my taste. I have items for trade as well: 1) Upper and Lower Canada Chocolate Loonies. In a joke, the Mint had 100 sets of ten Loonies each made in chocolate (and, of course, chocolate mint) with the requisite gold foil. Yes, these are the coins that caused such a commotion. They *are* technically legal tender. I have one set of chocolate and one of chocolate mint. Both are in excellent condition. 2) The painting "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand. (36"wx50"h) Rand brilliantly captured the Union of States's president Adam Smith's eloquent nonreaction to the news of the North Amerigoan Free Trade Agreement being turned down by both Canadas and Mexico. 3) Matilda's Bible. This bible is believed by many to have belonged to Queen Matilda of Angleland. It contains an inscription signed by William I the Conqueror. (Authenticity of this item is slightly questionable, but there is much supporting evidence and documentation. This will be included with the bible.) 4) Pizarro's Treasure Map. Pizarro bought a map that supposedly gave the location of El Dorado. The map was a fake, and it was used to lead him into the trap that resulted in his death.
